Tyris Corporation began operations in 1997 and is the successor in a series of successful companies originally founded in 1959 as Television Communications, Inc.
Tyris was formed with two primary business objectives in mind: 1) to invest in high-quality commercial properties in the western United States, and 2) to develop or redevelop underutilized properties in Northern California.
Tyris also continues its long tradition of construction, operating, managing and marketing telecommunications sites in the Western United States.
The word Tyris is a derivative of the ancient Greek word for Tower. The name symbolizes both the structures that have played a part in the firm's ongoing business activities and the company's ability to rise to meet the challenges it faces in responsibly serving its clients.
